Iona
Concept Art by Lydia Carswell
A few minutes before the beginning of 2014, the idea for Peter and Iona was born. On New Year's Eve, Patrick W. Phillips and Sara Elizabeth Woodard found themselves in Patrick's office following a party. Having recently seen Disney's Frozen, the subject of animated musicals came up. With Patrick's offhanded remark of, "I've always wanted to write a musical," and Sara Elizabeth's equally casual response of, "Why don't you?" the project began.

After talking through the night and into an early morning filled with whimsy and Cracker Barrel, they had the basic framework for Peter and Iona. Before the month of January was out, they had succeeded in scouring YouTube and DeviantArt for like-minded young talent. This gathered group of extremely talented artists have since contributed original music, concept art, and preliminary animations

Patrick & Sara Elizabeth originally intended to obtain an agent and take the traditional route of getting an animated feature produced. After several years of working with the team and producing a trove of unique artwork, it was decided that other intrepid options should be pursued. Currently, the project is still working to produce material for a potential studio pitch while also considering a self-produced stage musical.
